Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 11 - Inner City TIRZ

This board was created pursuant to Section 311.009 of the Texas Tax Code, Chapter 331. Five of the board members are appointed by the City Council, for two-year terms. The City of San Antonio is dedicated to the revitalization of inner-city neighborhoods and commercial districts by using a tiered system of incentive tools, such as Tax Increment Financing (TIF). A TIF project acts as an economic stimulus to the surrounding areas. Designated on December 14, 2000 with boundaries of South Alamo Street, Interstate Highway 35, Coliseum Road, Iowa Street. Located in City Council District(s): 1, 2 & 5. It is in San Antonio ISD. Proposed Developments: land acquisition, facility construction, renovation, streets and drainage, utilities, cemetery and park improvements, sidewalks and other amenities.
